Many teachers have stated, that to advance in the sport of Billiards, the pupil must master the art of cue ball control. On the time, Brunswick manufactured "spotting tables" which had been manually operated to put bowling pins of their correct places on a lane before a bowling ball was thrown at them. In 2005 Brunswick moved its bowling ball production to Reynosa, Mexico, and in 2006 it closed the Muskegon plant.
